New In Chassis Wireless Communication

These radios come in two styles, an 802.11b Client, and a PWP, ProSoft Wireless Protocol. The first allows secure access through the backplane by any 802.11b/g radio sharing the same password, such as a handheld PC. The second is using our PWP Protocol to allow the PLC to connect to any protocol supported by our PWP Protocol. This would enable a wireless connection to a Profibus Instrument, or to run RS-View wirelessly to your HMI.

Another application is the programming of the PLC through the radio without opening the enclosure in areas where arc-over is a concern.

This is the first of many in chassis units in Protocol and Rack Style.
